Striped bass, drum, weakfish (sea trout), cobia, even flounder aggressively feed on lobsters in these waters. This pattern is designed to imitate the American lobster in a size they eat like candy! The pattern can be fished day or night, using either a slow and steady retrieve to imitate a lobster crawling along the bottom, or with short strips to imitate a lobster darting away from a predator.

This pattern is also very effective at imitating many other lobster species throughout the world as well as crawfish in freshwater.
